Today’s Question of the Day: Does the Law of Attraction or Positive Thinking REALLY help writers to build wildly successful writing businesses?

I was reading an interesting article written by author, speaker and acknowledged leader in the business and self-help fields - Carol Tuttle. In the article, she tells us how Use EFT to Clear the Top 10 Destructive Money Beliefs - beliefs she says that could be holding you back from achieving the success you deserve.

Off the top of my head, I know (or know of) three more authors who believe that the Law of Attraction has been at least partly responsible for their success. There’s Mark Victor Hansen, who is known as America’s Ambassador of Possibility (I like that, don’t you?). He is of course known for the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series of books, as well as being a wonderfully motivating speaker. (In fact, take a look at his Website to get some ideas of all the possibilities available to you for adding additional streams of income into your own writing business!)

There’s also Michael Losier, Best selling author of “The Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t” - this one sounds interesting enough that I’ve just ordered it from Amazon. Again, if you’re looking for ideas to build your own wildly successful writing business, check out his Website. (Now to be honest, I’m not crazy about his Website - with the black background, it’s too hard on my eyes, and the font is too small and the red makes it hard to read (it’s hell getting older!)

Now what about you? Do you use the Law of Attraction in your life or your business? How’s that working out for you?

If you’ve written an article about it (for or against) or you’ve got other link you’d like to add to the conversation, feel free to add them - along with a link to your Website or blog - to the comments section.

I can’t wait to hear what you think!

From my own experience I would say that positive thinking has played a big part in my success so far. Writers need to be positive, because fear of rejection is a negative attitude that will prevent success. The law of attraction is about self belief and increases positive determination, which will always bring the best results.

@belena:Hi Belena,

Yeah, I agree with you completely - being afraid of rejection - or actually any fear - that you’re not a good enough writer, that there is too much competition, that people aren’t going to hire you in the first place - those are all things that can stop us in our tracks, don’t you think?

Thanks for taking the time to write and give your feedback about this issue - I appreciate it!
